Jackson Industrie’s owned and operated machining facility is (at the time of writing) New Zealand’s largest commercial tool making operation for the composite, concrete, roto-moulding & refractory industries. Long term investment in the upgrading of equipment, acquisition of staff and development of process have seen this side of the business expand from 4m2 of machine bed capacity to 67m2 over the last 10 years, with a floor area of more than 800m2 in our machining facility alone.
Jackson currently run six modern large envelope 5-axis routers, with the ability to operate around the clock. This means that regardless of how large or small a job is, we can competently complete it within a competitive time frame.
Combined with a well-equipped workshop and recent expansion of CNC metal machining capacity & large 23m2 area of CNC fabric cutting equipment to support operations, the company is well positioned to take on the majority of projects in this sector, in a risk free manner.
Jackson Industries employs a chemical engineer has developed a low cost – high temperature tooling putty over various substrate process, and bulk cast near-net tooling system (See CaroC) To enable efficient production of high quality moulds and parts suitable for any industry.

A wide range of materials can be machined including MDF, plywood, hardwood, glass-reinforced plastic, aluminium, polystyrene and urethane foams.
The extraordinary flexibility of our system helps designers to develop and refine their concepts into highly advanced working prototypes within a matter of hours, not months. In some cases, the entire project including multiple refined prototypes can cost no more than producing a single model under a manual system.
